About the FMHI Research Library

The FMHI librarian is away on a Fulbright in the West Bank for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. If you have research questions or requests for instruction, please contact Maryellen Allen.

For over 35 years, the FMHI Research Library has provided services directly supporting the research, teaching and educational activities of the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute. As part of the mission to serve FMHI, the University of South Florida, and uphold the Institute’s legislative mandate, the Library provides research and instruction support, collection development and dissemination of information essential to the Institute’s projects and the University’s academic and research programs. Library collections currently include e-resources, monographs, serials, and archives with a core focus on mental health research, policy and treatment; behavioral and mental healthcare; public health policy; and select, targeted collecting initiatives identified by FMHI and the USF Libraries.
