Planning Your Visit


Hours and Location


Researchers may use Special Collections resources in the reading room. Please review the Research Agreement form (attached below) for information about reading room policies and procedures. Researchers are not required to make an appointment to use materials, although people, particularly those traveling some distance, may find it helpful to make advance arrangements for their visit with a member of the staff.

The Special Collections Reading Room is open for researchers during the hours listed below, except for holiday closures on January 19, May 25, and July 3. 


Spring & Summer 2009 Hours (through August 21)

Monday: 9:00-6:00
Tuesday: 9:00-6:00
Wednesday: 9:00-6:00
Thursday: 9:00-6:00
Friday: 9:00-6:00
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed

May 4-8 and August 10-21, the Reading Room will close at 5:00 PM.

The Special Collections Reading Room is located on the 4th floor of the USF Tampa Library, 4202 E. Fowler Avenue, LIB 122, Tampa, FL 33620; (813) 974-2731, phone; (813) 396-9006, fax.

Please visit USF Parking and Transportation Services for information about parking on the Tampa campus.
