The material consists of manuscripts, galleys, proofs for articles written for the journal, Tampa Bay History from 1979-83. The collection also includes newspaper clippings, correspondence, and miscellaneous items which relate to the publication of the journal. The USF Department of History donated this collection.

Published from 1979 to 1998, the 20 volumes of Tampa Bay History feature the contributions of USF faculty, graduate students, and other scholars of Florida history. Digitized, it is a legacy that will benefit scholarship within and far beyond Florida.

Currently there are 40 issues online, 1/1 (Spring/Summer 1979) - 20/2 (Fall/Winter 1998). 784 articles from 20 volumes in this collection. Each issue contains a simple table of contents pointing to a Full-Text Adobe PDF per article, with the entire issue also available for download.
