Meet the Library GURUs
Mayra Morfin
I am a senior at USF double majoring in psychology and public health. I started working at the library since Fall 2010 as a circulation assistant. I enjoy reading anything from fantasy, to historical fiction, to romance novels. My favorite authors are Alan Brennert and Nicolas Sparks. When I’m not at the library I like to go ice skating, karaoke, and skateboarding with friends; I’m not the best, but I enjoy myself. I feel like I have a fun and upbeat personality that makes me want to help others at the same time. I am also very open to trying new things and always look forward to meeting new people.

Jasmine Allen
I am a Chemistry major at USF. I transferred from FSCJ two semesters ago. My favorite databases are Pubmed and CQ Researcher. However, most of the research I do for classes and my research projects require Web of Science. My favorite book is ‘The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers’ by Mary Roach, and a few little facts about me include: I love to cosplay at conventions, bake desserts, and I hope to go to USF College of Pharmacy!

Emily Stumbo
I am a junior in the Honors College, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a concentration in Sign Language Interpreting, as well as a minor in Religious Studies. This is my third year at USF, and I absolutely love it! My favorite database is CQ Researcher because I love current events and intellectual discussions. I am very involved on campus, and I absolutely love volunteering. Something most people don’t know about me is that my go-to music is almost always metal. My future goal is to get my Master’s degree in International Development from Gallaudet University.
